What is the EnergyWise Saving Store?

The EnergyWise SavingStore is an online marketplace that offers DominionEnergy South Carolina residential electric customers energy saving products. The Store offers energy efficiency products at near-wholesale prices that already include incentives, eliminating the need for you to complete a separate rebate application.


Why is Dominion Energy South Carolina offering energy saving products?

The EnergyWise SavingStore is one of many efforts we have launched to give customers the tools to make a real difference in their energy use and costs.

The environment also benefits. Helping our customers use less energy reduces the need for us to run older, less efficient power plants, and can also help delay the need to build new plants.


Why are water conservation products available to electric only customers?

The EnergyWise Savings Store was designed to offer residential electric customers a variety of energy efficiency products that reduce electric consumption. Because some customers use natural gas or propane to heat water, our water conservation products are being offered exclusively to residential electric only customers who are more likely to only have electric water heaters in their homes.


Are there compliance requirements for products purchased on the EnergyWise Savings Store?

Yes. Purchasers of products from the store must agree to comply with the following:

  • You will install the products in accordance with the respective product installation requirements found on each product page.
  • You will install the products at the premise address associated with the account number under which the products are purchased.
  • You will not resell any products purchased from the EnergyWise Savings Store.

How and where can I recycle CFLs?

Please visit the EPA website for suggestions on recycling CFLs.


How long will it take to receive an item on backorder?

If products are backordered, Am Conservation Group will provide an estimated ship date during the checkout process and by email.


Which products are eligible for instant discounts?

All of the smart thermostats, LEDs, and advanced power strips listed in the Dominion Energy South Carolina EnergyWise Savings Store are eligible for instant discounts. The discounts are applied instantly for eligible customers and no paperwork is required.


Is there an application process for the instant discounts?

No, there is no application process needed for the Dominion Energy South Carolina EnergyWise Savings Store instant discounts. The discounts are instantly applied at the point of sale.


Why do you need to verify my account?

Account verification is necessary to ensure that the rebates are available to customers with an active residential electric account from the Dominion Energy South Carolina EnergyWise Savings Store.


Is there a minimum and maximum amount I can buy?

Yes, the instantly-discounted products have limits on the amount you can purchase per account. They are as follows:.

  • 15 LED bulbs per customer account, per year.
  • 2 smart lighting products per customer account, per year.
  • 2 advanced power strips per customer account, per year.
  • 2 showerheads per customer account, per year.
  • 2 faucet aerators per customer account, per year.
  • 2 smart thermostats per the lifetime of a customer's account. 
  • 2 smart sockets per customer account, per year.

How do I login or register?

You can login or create an account by clicking Sign In or Create An Account in the top right corner of the screen. Please note that your EnergyWise Savings Store login is not he same as your Dominion Energy login.


Is my account username and password the same as my Dominion Energy login?

No, you will need to create a new EnergyWise Savings Store account with a separate username and password. If you have previously made an account but forgot your password, you can request an emailed password reset.

Click Sign In or Create An Account in the top right corner of the screen and click on the “Forgot password?” link.


How do I view my order history?

Click Sign In or Create An Account in the top right corner of the screen and log into your account.


What forms of payment can I use in the EnergyWise Savings Store?

AM Conservation Group will accept payment by Check, MasterCard, VISA or American Express. All transactions are in U.S. dollars. Your payment will be preauthorized prior to shipping but charges are not posted to your credit card until after the order has shipped.


When a customer makes a purchase, who does the charge come from?

The charge on your credit card will come from Worldpay, the Dominion Energy South Carolina EnergyWise Savings Store credit card processing vendor.


Is there an option to have my purchase added to my utility bill?

No, there is not an on-bill financing option. A credit card must be used at checkout to make a purchase.


How do I know if my order was received?

After your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email to the email you used while registering for your account. Once your order has shipped, you will receive another email with your tracking number.

What are the shipping and handling rates?

The Dominion Energy South Carolina EnergyWise Savings Store has free shipping and handling on orders over $25 and flat-rate shipping of $5 per order if the total is less than $25.There is also free shipping on purchases of 15 LED bulbs of more. 


Can my purchases be shipped to another address other than my Dominion Energy service address?

The store is set-up to only allow for shipping to your Dominion Energy service address. Please contact us at 1-877-510-7234 should you need to ship to your Dominion Energy account mailing address instead of the service address. Note that we do not ship to PO boxes or outside of the Dominion Energy service territory.


Can I enter a different billing address other than my Dominion Energy service address?

If you need to use a different billing address when checking out, you may request us to add another address to your Dominion Energy South Carolina EnergyWise Savings Store account by calling 1-877-510-7234.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders will ship from Charleston in an average of two business days of successful payment processing.  Once shipped, average delivery times from Charleston will be 2-3 days.
 

General Item Returns

Eligible Time Period: 30 days from delivery date

Non-Eligible Items: opened or installed thermostats and items that are not in original condition

We want you to be satisfied with the products purchased from us, but are unable to refund products that have been installed, for which the original packaging has been destroyed, or that are otherwise not in original condition and resalable. You are responsible for returning products in a safe, unbroken condition, so please pack returns carefully. You may want to insure returns of valuable merchandise. Upon receipt a credit equal to the product purchase price will be issued to you through the same payment method you used to pay for the order. See Returns Process below.


Incorrectly Shipped Orders

Eligible Time Period: Inspect your order within 2 business days from delivery date. If you received items you did not order, we will either send you a prepaid FedEx shipping label for you to return the incorrectly shipped merchandise. We will ship a new order for the correct merchandise within one business day.


Damaged Item Returns

Eligible Time Period: Inspect your order within 2 business days from delivery date. If an order has arrived damaged you should notify the supplier, AM Conservation Group (AMCG), within 2 business days of delivery date. AMCG will ship replacements at no cost.

If a smart thermostat, arrives damaged due to shipping, it will need to be returned to AMCG prior to a replacement being sent. If a product doesn't appear to be damaged from shipping but instead a not working properly due to a manufacturer's defect, please follow the steps below under, Defective Item Returns.

AMCG will notify you if any of the damaged items need to be returned and will send you a prepaid FedEx shipping label to do so.

Returns Process 

You may request a return of most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. AMCG will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or damaged item, etc.). 

  1. Items must be returned within 45 days of invoice to be eligible for credit. 

  1. Returned items must be received by the supplier AM Conservation Group (AMCG) in new condition and in the original packaging to be eligible for a refund. 

  1. AMCG will send you Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) documentation which must be placed inside the return shipment package and RMA number printed on each package in order for returned material to be received at AMCG. 

  1. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is a result of an error made by AMCG, in which case, AMCG will send you a FEDEX shipping label.
